Loud Shirt Day

Loud Shirt Day!

What was it?

Loud Shirt day was held on the 10th of September (week 8) to raise awareness for deaf people in the country. Almost everyone wore their 'loudest' shirt to show their support.

Who dressed the best?

Thank you to everyone who made an effort to dress up! It was very hard to choose but in the end these four were the best dressed:

Year 1/2: Isabella
Year 3/4: Maya
Year 4/5/6: Jozua
Year 7/8: Siobhan

They will receive a certificate and a voucher that enables them to purchase a moosie or juicie on any Wednesday.

Daffodil Day (again)!!

Daffodil Day!!

Just to remind you again, it's Daffodil Day on the 28th of August. We would love it if y'all dressed in your yellowest clothes and brought a donation! It's for a great cause - it goes toward the Cancer Society for cancer research, and we'd like to make sure that this year, Paremata School makes a great contribution.

Watch us get into the spirit of Daffodil Day in the video below:

You can also check a better-quality version of this on our What's On Top page.

Thanks, Senior Council.

Bike Rack

NEW BIKE RACK!!!

Last term Mr Coleman helped us to get a new bike rack for the school. Here it is:

We are glad that some of you have been using it and wanted to make sure that you all knew it was there waiting for your bike. It is next to the P.E shed by the old bike rack. So start riding your bikes to school and take advantage of our great new bike rack!

Thanks, Senior Council.

Daffodil Day!

Daffodil Day 2015
Daffodil Day will be on Friday the 28th of August to raise awareness for the Cancer Society. This is a great opportunity to show off all of your best yellow gear and show your support for this wonderful organisation.  We would also love it if everyone could bring a gold coin donation - put it in the can for your house colour and see which house raises the most!  Anyone giving a donation will receive a daffodil or a sticker.

Thanks, Senior Council.
